For our da Vinci® assisted surgeries, our surgeons need to follow specific protocol such as: the patients positioning in the surgical robot. Once the patient is ready, our surgeons will start by creating small almost tiny incisions, where the thin surgical instruments will be introduced.

They will locate the sigmoid colon and rectum, to free the rectum from its surrounding structures and they lift it to their normal position inside the patient’s pelvis. The rectum is secured with precise stitches.
