Gastric Sleeve Plications – Free Webinar
Angeles Health International will hold the twelfth live medical webcast focusing on Gastric Plication (also known as Gastric Sleeve Plication, or Gastroplication), the new restrictive bariatric surgical technique that includes Dr. Lopez Corvala at Hospital Angeles as one of the expert pioneers, performing the procedure on more than 200 patients since December 2009.
Gastric Plication is exciting to gastroenterologist surgeons because it involves no stomach resection or devices; it is exciting to patients because outcomes consistently demonstrate weight loss that is faster and more intense at the same post-op interval as LAP-BAND — weight loss patterns can be said to be similar to RNY gastric bypass. By contrast Gastric Plication is far less invasive with much lower risk of early or acute complications.
