Just completed my surgery a week ago and I have to share how happy I am with the level of service AngelesHealth gave me. The process for scheduling and planning logistics was very easy. Carlos set up a trusted driver, picked me and my cousin up in San Diego, and met with us when we arrived at the lab for blood work. He guided us all day and night taking me to meet with the cardiologist, surgeon, and checked in with us periodically while we waited to check into the hospital that night. The Hospital staff was wonderful! If there was a language barrier at anytime Carlos or the translation apps make it very easy to communicate. The nurses and team took great care of me. I can not express how truly fortunate I felt and feel. The entire process was absolutely seamless. Every step was very well coordinated. The moment my flight landed I was greeted by Carlos who drove me to my hotel. The hotel was a fantastic place to relax between getting my lab work panels, EKG test, meet with Dr. Salvador Medina and becoming cleared prior to surgery. All appointments were made for me and transportation to and from all of them were flawlessly executed. This allowed me to not only get medically cleared but gave me the flexibility to rest and relax prior to undergoing a huge surgical operation. The night prior to surgery Carlos admitted me to the hospital which gave me a great surgical time for the following morning. I can not express how grateful I am/was for Carlos's assistance who not only knows the hospital protocols and procedures, he translated between all parties involved. Following surgery I booked at the Zen Recovery Center. I can't express how vital the decision to stay here was for my recovery process. Speaking of the healing process, the lymphatic massages increased my range of motion and gave me a multitude of benefits that I opted to get an additional session. I was fortunate enough to also meet Dra. Daniela Gutiérrez Mendoza who evaluated my skin care concerns and prescribed me an entire treatment plan (which had visible effects the following day and continue to amaze me). I will never waste money on skin care products without consulting a dermatologist again and wish I would have started sooner. There's so much more great things to say for Dr. Salvador Medina, Dra. Daniela Gutiérrez Mendoza, Carlos, the recovery center and their entire staffs. I'm looking forward to seeing the end result in a few months but am completely ecstatic when I look in the mirror and feel blessed to have met absolutely talented, passionate and inspiring professionals. The team and surgeon were absolutely amazing! 10 out of 10. I feel I had a surgeon with education and experience on a global scale. Personalized care, fast and efficient care at a reasonable price. If I could give Carlos & his team 20/5 stars I would. Was not able to get assistance for a fractured left wrist with cash pay or that would even take my insurance for 3 weeks in California. Which was shocking! And when I finally got help I had healed and suffered additional fractures and needed open stabilization surgery. The practitioner could not tell me an estimated price for surgery and I personally had to call the CARE (anesthesia company) to set the appointment and pay before the surgery. And when I got down to it my total cost was between 15k-$20k. Found AngelesHealth using ChatGPT and met Carlos Zavala, we sent over the x-rays and in "15 minutes" I got a response in 2 hours, spoke to the surgeon Juan Jose Aguilar and had flights and hotel booked. We were picked up from the airport, taken to the hotel, blood work done, surgery completed for half the cost. They even checked in and even took me around in their personal vehicles to get vegan food after my surgery. Felt like I've known Carlos for years after just 3 days. My experience was great from start to finish. Carlos was who I contacted first to find out information and he was very helpful, explained the whole process. The surgeon in Canada would not perform surgery for me without getting a biopsy and chemotherapy first, already going down that route once before I didn't want that again. I looked into hospital Angeles in Mexico and I'm so glad I did. I got in quickly, not like the forever waiting in Canada. I was picked up from my hotel in San Diego, driven across the border into Tijuana and straight to the hospital to have blood tests and an exam from the surgeon Dr. Jorge Zavala Ruiz. The surgeon was very informative to help me understand everything, staff spoke English and were very considerate. The hospital was super clean, the nurses were great. Carlos the driver takes you to your hotel and back again for surgery (mine was the next day) and back to the hospital for any checkups needed and then back into San Diego to the airport when you are ready to return. He went out of his way for us. The surgery went well and the surgeon took very good care of me at the two follow up appointments I had, even coming into the hospital on his day off because I was leaving early the next day. I stayed at the Quartz hotel which I would highly recommend since it has a food court of around 10 delicious restaurants, a 7-11, a pharmacy to get your prescriptions filled, a very nice ice cream shop and grocery store right across the street. I would highly recommend this whole process, thank you to all the wonderful people who made it so easy and comfortable to do.

A friend needed hernia surgery in Oregon but didn't have insurance. I researched surgery centers in Mexico and contacted Carlos at AngelesHealth. He was very informative and sent me multiple e-mails explaining the process, doctors, facility care and costs which ended up being less than 10% of the cost in the United States. We were nervous about having surgery done in Mexico but Carlos alleviated our concerns and took care of everything. My husband and our friend flew to San Diego, were picked up by Carlos, taken to the hotel and also picked up for the pre- and post-operative appointments and the surgery. All went very well. The hospital was clean, the doctor knowledgeable, and the staff spoke English and provided excellent care. Carlos was there every step of the way. If you need a knee or hip replacement these are definitely the people you want to do it. You fly into San Diego and Carlos picks you up and takes you to the hospital for X rays and blood work. He fills out all the paper work and answers any questions you may have, gives you his phone number if you need anything you give him a call and he'll take care of it. You get admitted to the hospital the same day and the next morning you have your new joint put in. The hospitals are very clean and have good food and TV and they have room for your spouse to stay in your room. Your stay is 4 days, and they make sure there are no complications. I then went to Zen Health which is a recovery center for three days. What a great facility, new, clean and great food. Carlos, Dr Garin and his team are the best at what they do. I've had them do two knee replacements and one hip replacement on myself and have had excellent results, would highly recommend to anyone needing joint replacement surgery.

I contacted AngelesHealth to request information about a hysterectomy for my daughter, Shelby.
