Canadian MS Patient talks about her CCSVI Intervention at Angeles Health

A Canadian MS patient talks about CCSVI diagnostic testing and intervention at Hospital Angeles. Angeles has treated more than 200 MS patients for CCSVI. The all-inclusive medical travel program price is now $9,250.

Maybe we can start by you guys telling us your name and where you're from, and then you can go about how long ago you were diagnosed with MS. Don't do it, he once doesn't wanna do it. It's okay, it really doesn't matter who does it as long as you can -- this obviously, is going to be seen like you guys. Yeah. That have doubts and that now that you've been through all this, you can help them clear those doubts and do -- Oh yes.

I was very nervous about it all and actually hiding. I had coworkers saying, "You're nuts." Yeah, it usually is that way. I mean, we have a lot of international patients, and the first thing comes to mind, when they think of Tijuana, someone get shot. Yes. Or that the hospital is going to be a chronic clinic or are the doctor's licensed?

Or stuff like that. Yeah. That's exactly what I was told. So we understand, we understand. And what we want to do is destroy those barriers and inform.

Yes, inform people that this is a good place. Your dreams will come alive.

Hi, I'm Patricia Gilbert and this is my husband.

Ryan GIlbert.

And we're from Ontario, Canada in Mississisauga. And my husband has had MS for six years. It was diagnosed. It was a rapid diagnose from zero to like he couldn't get off the couch within six months. He now, he --
Which MS do I have?

Relapse , progressive relapsing. Before he came down here, he was dizzy all the time. He couldn't stand, his legs -- Very long periods. Yeah, he couldn't stand for periods of -- Balance it was totally messed up. And balance is like he was drunk, he would tell people, he had a hard time talking. He'd slur his speech.

It took about an hour and a half. It was very painful in the neck but it was worth. A little bit of pain at the injury. And I felt so much better right after the procedure. And today I'm actually doing quite well, where a long time ago I didn't think I can go this far and I had a really bad slur speech impairment, where I can actually talk normal now.

That makes me happy. I can walk half decently now. I have a lot more stability in my legs where I can walk a longer period time now. And I don't have any kind of sore neck at all because of the procedure. It was very clean as far as I'm concerned when it came to the procedure. And this was done how long ago?

Yesterday. It was done yesterday, and I can actually walk around. I don't really need my cane any longer, but my wife tells me I have to carry it with me and I have to listen to what she says. Nervous. I find we were checking into hospitals and I was trying another hospitals another places and going on the internet and talk to people. I mean, I contact a couple of other hospitals, and I found that this hospital, people reactions were different, very good. I mean.

I was very nervous when we originally got here and then after the procedure I'm very relaxed now. And I think she thinks I'm a little bit too relaxed now, but you'll have to live with me anyways. I thought all the doctors and all the nurses were very professional. Like if there was any kind of a problem, even a tiniest little problem,

they would make a solution almost immediately without a problem with it. It was very relaxing. When we came in they set us down, they relaxed us and they took care of us right up until this time. And they are still taking care of us even though we can leave anytime we want now and it's already been a day. So, what was your impression overall about Hospital Angeles and coming into Mexico for such procedure?

We originally thought in the beginning, coming to Mexico, it was very nervous because we see these TV shows, we hear what people say. It's something totally different, when we got here and how we were treated, totally different than what we originally. We were originally nervous coming here.

We're not nervous any longer, because we're very comfortable. We're taking very well, taken care of. What would you say to people watching this? We would really recommend this huge because in my opinion it has changed my life where before I was looking down a dark tunnel and now I see a light at the end of the tunnel now because of this hospital.

It has made me very happy. And I can actually walk around. I'm almost able to dance, but it's only been one day. But I've been told I better learn how I dance, because I don't want to get her upset with me.
