Canadian MS Patient Finds Liberation at Hospital Angeles - CCSVI Patient Stories

Hospital Angeles has treated more than 200 MS patients for CCSVI. The all-inclusive medical travel program price is now $9,250.

My name is Rober McGee, I'm from British Columbia, Canada.

How long ago were you diagnosed with MS?

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis
in '82. It turned into secondary, progressive, after about 5 years, and I've been steadily going down hill since then.

And what were your symptoms
and challenges when you write?

My symptoms and challenges were well, I couldn't walk around or move my arms up and down or move my hands very much. And my voice was getting very weak. My eyesight was really starting to fail me. Things like that. The procedure took around an hour. It worked out very well, it wasn't anything you have to worry about.

The doctor was quite professional, and they explained everything to you. So, you know what's going on and you look at the video board so you can kind of see what they're doing and they explained it all to you. It's very impressive.

Okay, Have you noticed any
changes after the after the surgery?

Yes, my voice has gotten
stronger, my eyesight got better almost immediately, the swelling, my purple feet disappeared almost immediately.

And a little better room and then a little better movement in my arms with my hands. And I don't have pain like I have before.

Okay, and you had the surgery just today, right?

Just today, yeah.

So, one day you're improving?

After one day, yeah.

Certainly, that's fantasitic.

Yeah.

And what was your impression with the
physicians that conducted the procedure?

Well, Doctor Newman and Doctor Morales were very professional. They explained everything. They were very friendly. They were very helpful, and like I say, they explained it all very well.

Okay.
I had no fear or anything about having it done.

Okay. And what about your impression on Hospital Angeles?
Was it what you expected, or was it significantly different from than you expected from a Mexican hospital?

Oh, it was way different from what I expected. Everybody's very friendly, it's a great. The food's good. The people are very friendly. It's clean. Very well run. It's quite.

Everyone has been really nice to us here.
I would just like to say that this is one of the cleanest hospitals I've ever seen.

Yeah.

I must say it's way cleaner than the hospitals back home.
Yes top points.

Definitely.
It's very nice here.

It's been really welcoming. Everyone's
been so helpful, it's been a great experience. Just being in Tijuana's been kind of fun. The entire, yeah the entire experience has been really good. Yeah, really happy.

And the food in Mexico is really good.

Yes, we have enjoyed.
Okay. Fantastic. Anything else you would like to share with us? I think.

No, we just hope that
more improvements are in store and we're just happy we did it. Yeah. Thank you.

Yeah. Okay.

Yes, thank you.
