He has performed over 300 hip replacement surgeries, and has trained in the hip resurfacing program of renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. B.J. Bose (India). Dr. Garin holds U.S. fellowships in joint restructuring and sports medicine and is the resident Orthopedist for several professional basketball and soccer teams of Mexico.
