I thought there was absolutely no hope and that I was destined to pass away. I was diagnosed with COPD in 2000, and my conditioned worsened over the years.I began to need oxygen regularly and my medication dosage increased. I go t to the point of not being able to do my chores, and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance because I was unable to walk. There were times I wished God would take me to stop the suffering.
I came to Hospital Angeles Tijuana with a modest hope that I’d get enough power in my lungs that I could start doing things for myself. About two months after treatment, I am a changed man.
In Canada, they couldn’t do anything for me. Coming here has changed my life completely. In the first 5 days after treatment I experienced significant improvement. Although I was quite literally gasping for breath with the effort to talk pre-treatment, within two weeks I was able to ride my bike for 30 minutes twice a day. Within two months I was able to walk without oxygen for the first time in years – just in time for one of the most special walks of my life, with my daughter, down the aisle.!
