Are you at risk for heart disease? If you are seriously overweight, the answer
is yes. The US Preventative Services Task Force reports that the prevalence of obesity
(a person with a Body Mass Index of 30 or higher) in the US has increased to one
in 3 adults.
Excess weight increases the heart's work. It also raises blood pressure and blood
cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and lowers HDL ("good") cholesterol levels.
Losing weight can have a significant impact on reducing your risk for heart disease.
If you are struggling to lose weight, please evaluate our innovative Weight Loss
Surgery Program for Medical Travelers. We have helped thousands of Americans reclaim
healthy lives.
