I was blown away by the treatment I received at the hospital. To be honest I thought my coordinator was just saying that it was awesome.....It was more than she could have ever expressed. I flew to San Diego by myself for surgery. I was totally brave until the day I flew out. My coordinator (Laureli) took all my "last minute" question calls. She was on the phone with me when I landed in San Diego and until the driver (Rafael) picked me up.

A quick trip across the border and I walked into a beautiful lobby. It didn't feel/look like a sterile hospital, it felt warm. I was immediately helped and walked through filling out paperwork. I had all my pre-op tests and 2.5 hours after I landed I was in my private room (suite). Dr. Corvala and his team visited with me that evening, the anesthesiologist came and talked to me and walked me through everything he was going to do, and off I went to sleep. The nursing staff was 1st rate…yes they don't all speak fluent English, but they are more than willing to try to figure stuff out, and are on call at the touch of a button, with smiley faces.

The next morning I was wheeled to surgery. I started crying, and the nursing staff and the orderly did everything to cheer me up, they held my hand, and even danced and joked a little to get me to relax on the way to the operating room. I was taken to the operating room, and given happy drugs, and 1 minute later I was waking up. I stayed in the hospital for 2 days, had post-op testing and post-op care. Everyone always had a smile on their face and responded to my call in a matter of minutes.

The entire surgical team came to visit me in my room at least 2 times a day. It has been the best hospital experience of my life. if I ever need to have any other surgical procedure I will definitely consider Angeles Hospital as a first choice.

First I want to address the quality of the services I received at Angeles International. Dr Garin did a great job. Not only did he replace my total left hip with exactly the Biomet prosthesis I had requested, he also accessed the lower part of sacral spine that was very deteriorated by arthritis and had multiple bone spurs. He removed as many bone spurs and debris as he could. I have not had any back pain since.

My recovery is on track. I walk with the crutches- everyday a little more and a little more weight bearing. I am essentially pain free. Late in the evening my surgical site gets achy so I use the pain medication. Honestly, as a R.N. I have worked in every kind of hospital from LAC-USC Medical center to private hospitals like Glendale Adventist. I cannot say any hospital I ever worked in compares with the setting and room structure you provide. I am very grateful for the care I received and I am busy sharing with neighbors and family what great services you provide. I am a satisfied customer and would be happy to share my experience with anyone needing information from a patient prior to making a decision to use your services.

I had a very positive experience with the entire process. So far I am down 8 lbs 2 ozs. I appreciated the fact Dr. Corvala was there every day--even coming in on Sunday to see me before I was discharged. Dr. Garcia also met with me several times a day.

Having been to several hospitals just recently, I can say beyond the shadow of a doubt that Hospital Angeles is top notch. I loved that it was so quiet and clean. The staff took very good care of me at all times!

Thank you again for all your help, and I am looking forward to a smooth recovery from here on out. I feel the decision I made was the right one for me, and although there isn't much data available yet on this procedure, I feel that I made the right choice.

I came home from my trip as planned. So good to be back! The security at the SD airport and the border was awful. And that's even going to the front of ALL the lines! There were some great food options in the area that my companion brought to the hospital. The care I received was absolutely extraordinary. If I need something else done to me, I will go back there in a second. The world needs more doctors like Dr. Garin-- an amazing man! The service your company is offering to the people in this country is crucial, keep up the good work spreading the word and helping people. I truly thought this day would never get here. I wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much I have appreciated one of your agents, Jeff Linville. I was very anxious about making an appointment in Tijuana for a LAP-BAND surgery and had researched several different places.

Jeff was so patient with me and answered all of my questions with such professionalism. We've spoken on the phone numerous times and Jeff really went the distance for me. He not only helped assure me of the safety of the doctor, but also the hospital and being in Tijuana. My experience with Angeles Hospitals in Tijuana was amazing! The surgeon was very warm and caring and he did a fantastic job. The hospital room was very nice and clean. All of the staff was wonderful - professional, kind and respectful. The price was very reasonable. My coordinator was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and set up the entire trip quickly. I am so glad I had the surgery. I know several people who had the same surgery in the US and had to jump through all sorts of crazy hoops with their insurance companies. In addition, most American surgeons send their patients home the SAME DAY as surgery! I was in the hospital for two nights after the surgery with 'round-the-clock nursing care.
