The length of stay is determined by you and your doctor and depends on the type of procedure you have had. As well as keeping our cosmetic surgery patients in the hospital we also then ask them to stay in a nearby hotel so that we can pay close attention to their progress and are on hand at short notice. Some patients do choose to stay near Angeles Health to have stitches taken out or for their medication to be reviewed, although this can usually be carried out in the patient's home town. If you are having treatment at Hospital Angeles Tijuana, and are a US citizen, you do not need a passport. You can fly into San Diego airport which is only 20-30 minutes from the US/Mexican border and enter and return to the US using a U.S. passport, a passport card, a trusted traveler card such as NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST, or an enhanced driver's license.
