About Dr. Arturo Valenzuela

Dr. Valenzuela earned his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and completed his internship at Hospital General de Ciudad Juarez. He gained his General Surgeon certification from Dr. Manuel Gea Gonzalez General Hospital.

Additional training in diagnostic and invasive endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery training took place at Hospital Angeles del Pedregal.

Dr. Valenzuela has worked as a Professor of Anatomy and is currently a Professor of General Surgery at Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez.

He has worked as a Laparoscopic Surgeon since 1996, and has specialized in bariatric surgery since 2007 and has done more than 300 LAP Band procedures. He is currently on staff at Hospital Angeles Juarez.
