About Dr. Andrey Shakhov

Dr. Shakhov earned his medical degree from the Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy in Poltava, Ukraine. He worked as a Resident in the Department of General and Reconstructive surgery at the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in Moscow, Russia, advancing to Chief Resident and Research Fellow in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery.

Currently a Plastic Surgeon at Hospital Angeles, Tijuana, Dr. Shakhov has also practiced in the U.S., at Orange County Surgery Center in Santa Ana, California, at Clinica Planas in Barcelona, Spain, and at several facilities in Moscow, Russia.

Dr. Shakhov is certified by the Mexican Board of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, English and French, Dr. Shakhov can easily communicate with his international patients.
